The University traces its origins to schools and colleges established in the middle of the nineteenth century as a result of the energies and visions of individual educational reformers and philanthropists throughout Devon and Cornwall.
Russian at Exeter offers excellent teaching supported by international quality research, and our students enjoy high levels of employment success. Russian at Exeter's research is concentrated in Russian literature and history of the twentieth century.
Our MA in Translation is a successful and growing programme; providing excellent language teaching is therefore a key element in preparing our students to undertake further study and become professional linguists.
